Working with Sportswear
Sportswear is owned by Vangàrd Retail, a textile company from Jutland, with more than 70 years of experience with production and development of technical certified garments.
We make the constructions inhouse in Denmark with the latest Technology from Gerber´s 3D program and our own laser-cutter. We can offer you our standard styles, but you can also offer your own pattern with our team. The delivery time on sample depends on if we begin from scratch or using our standards styles.
When the style and design have been approved, you will receive a color sample before starting the production to make sure it is the right colors. When the color sample has been approved the production will begin.
The four steps after approval
The production part is divided into different parts.
The first step is printing. We have the latest Mimaki printers and we are able print fluorescent colors (Neon colors).
Second step is when the prints are getting transferred into the fabric. The Print is heated directly in the fibers with our New Calander were we have a high capacity each day.
Third step is the cutting part. With the latest technology installed fall 2019 in our laser cutting department. With our software we can scans the design and cuts it out. This process is simple and very efficient and has det benefit that edges will be sealed at the same time preventing light fabric to run.
All of this above is produced in Denmark which helps a lot by catching mistakes before the product is sewn together. The last part is sewing is done in Ukraine. The factory in Ukraine is BSCI certified which means that our employees is protected by the international labor standards workers’ rights such as International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions and declarations, the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and guidelines for multinational enterprises of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
For quick samples with a short deadline can be made in Denmark.
Newcomers
When we start working with new companies or brands, we usually invite them to our company to show who we are, how we work and what technics or machines we use. This gives a much better understanding of the different process that are involved in producing Sublimated printed clothing.
